Once again, the Vegan Society held their Volunteer of the Year Awards, presented by the infamous Ms. Cupcake! The volunteer winners were presented with their awards at a special ceremony, open for all members of the public to attend.
To add to the celebration, they had entertainment from two leading comedians – Alasdair Beckett-King and Chris Stokes, who both also happen to be vegan!
As well as this, there was an array of samples and tasty nibbles for attendees to partake in – generously donated by Trademark holders including Pana Chocolate, Ten Acre, Amy’s Kitchen, Ms. Cupcake, Choc Shot and Rebel Kitchen. Finally, The Vegan Society gave away free goodie bags to 50 visitors as part of the volunteer celebration!
In recognition of their amazing outreach and support, the Volunteers of the Year will each win an amazing hamper overflowing with prizes generously donated by Vegan Society Trademark Holders, as well as a trip to London to attend the awards themselves.
“We are incredibly lucky to have so many committed volunteers who give their time to support the aims of The Vegan Society,” says Jasmijn de Boo, CEO “By presenting these awards, we hope to recognise the achievements of our volunteers in a very real way, and celebrate all that they do to promote veganism.”
We hope you’ll join us to celebrate a great year of vegan outreach!
